FINALLY, the fresh and childlike genius of Wooley Cottswold has been coaxed into the light for the rest of us to enjoy!

While he’s certainly more comfortable scribbling rhymes on pieces of scratch paper and doodling fanciful characters for the amusement of himself and his family, we were compelled to harness those talents and share them with one and all. Quite a feat!

Rose and the Bald-Headed Elephant is only the first of many of Mr. Cottswold’s gems we hope to add to the treasure of fine children’s literature in the future.

We thank him for sharing himself so whole “Hart”edly with us! Well—kind of.

So, who hasn’t had a “bad hair day?” Or even perhaps a “NO hair day?” Amidst the angst of feeling small and less than everyone around us, we thank heaven for that irreplaceable friend who takes notice and reminds us of who we REALLY are…someone that is loveable and unique with much to contribute to the world regardless of our “bald spots!” Can Rose convince her dear friend how wonderful he is, JUST as he is?
