Archie Publishing is an independent publishing company dedicated to publishing children’s books that are exceptional in both quality and style…books that are reminiscent of the chap himself—Edwin Archibald “Archie” Cherrington. Archie was born in Swindon, England in 1893, into a family of "gentlemen farmers." He set sail for America over 100 years ago as a young lad who was only able to attend school through the 3rd grade, but he never missed a day and he never stopped reading. He was well versed in the classics as well as the contemporary issues of his day. His dictionary trivia competitions are legendary, no-one could compete. Archie was strikingly clever and original, witty, with a fancy for what truly makes life grand!
